You know when you just need a change!? This spring I decided I could be much more productive in a prettier room. As if I don't have enough work to do, I picked up a few things at the thrift store and started painting away.
My new room is much prettier and I AM much more productive, I might add! So I guess all the late night painting session were worth it. :)

I painted them with oil based paint to get that shiny look and what a pain...I'll never use oil base again!
New curtains from Target with tie back ribbon from my favorite trim store: Bolt's End
I painted this little shelf from Michael's, then got spice jars from Ikea and painted the lids red. Now all my trims and buttons have a happy home!
A fabulous painting from Home Expot to tie it all together...and that's my old Dell computer. It's died since this picture was taken and now I have a shiny new iMac. Can I say how much I love macs!?
So now you know where your "little treasures" come from!
